NICHOLAS WOOD, Executive Chairman
Wood is currently a partner at Kidron LLC, a mergers and acquisitions
advisory firm. Prior to joining Kidron, Wood was the Chief Executive
Officer and founder of Emosyn LLC, a fabless semiconductor company
in the smart card and security markets. In April 2005 he sold Emosyn
to Silicon Storage Technology after growing the business to approximately
$40 million with sixteen patents issued. Prior to founding Emosyn,
Wood served as Vice President Marketing for ATMI, Inc., a semiconductor
materials company. Wood also spent ten years with Intel Corporation
in Europe.
DENNIS BRESTOVANSKY, President and Chief Executive Officer
Brestovansky brings to Aveso extensive operational experience in materials-related
businesses serving the display, semiconductor, and military industries.
Prior to joining Aveso, he served as President of ATMI Packaging,
a provider of packaging and dispensing systems for specialty chemicals
and drug delivery products with approximately two hundred fifty people
worldwide and approximately $100 million in revenue. Brestovansky
holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Microeconomics from the Swiss
Federal Institute of Technology, and an MS and BS in Chemical Engineering
from the University of Delaware. He is the author of over fifty publications
and patents.
MATT DIETZ, Vice President, Engineering
Dietz joined Aveso from Innovex, a leading manufacturer of high-density
flexible circuit-based electronic interconnect solutions, where he
served as Senior Engineering Director. Prior to Innovex, Dietz held
senior engineering positions with Seagate, Quantum, Digital Equipment
and Texas Instruments, with technical responsibility for a variety
of microelectronic products including integrated circuits, flexible
circuits and battery-powered products. During his career, Dietz has
transferred and scaled high volume manufacturing processes, with a
focus on product and process qualification, test, failure mode analysis
and yield enhancement. Dietz is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
DON LEHMAN, Vice President,
Operations
Lehman brings over thirty years of operations, supply chain and executive
leadership expertise to Aveso. Most recently, he served as Vice President
of Operations for ATMI Packaging, Inc, where he led a global team
of one hundred and fifty people; expanded US operations; and established
manufacturing partnerships to open new facilities in Korea, Japan
and Belgium. Prior to ATMI, Lehman served in executive roles as General
Manager for Marketech, a Division of Rohwedder Group International;
Director of Operations at The Bergquist Company; and Vice President
of Operations for Micro Component Technology, Inc.
GRAHAME LUCAS, Vice President,
Sales
Lucas’ background includes twenty years of sales and marketing
experience in the semiconductor industry, including seven years with
Intel UK, three years with Motorola Germany and four years with IBM
UK. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of India Card,
a joint venture between Himachal Futuristic Communications, Ltd. (HFCL)
and iCard Technologies, Ltd. Prior to India Card, Lucas co-founded
Emosyn LLC, where he was responsible for worldwide sales and marketing.
EMILY SELENE DE ROTSTEIN, Vice
President, Marketing
A founder of the business, de Rotstein led the new business growth
effort within The Dow Chemical Company responsible for developing
and commercializing Aveso’s display technology. As general manager
of the business, she led venture capital fundraising efforts resulting
in the spin out of the business from Dow. Prior to Dow, de Rotstein
held executive positions in the publishing sector, including Director
of Marketing for The Chicago Sun-Times and Vice President North America
for The Jerusalem Post.
DINO FERRARI, Vice President, Business Development
Ferrari brings to Aveso over twenty-five years of experience in the payment card industry, spanning smart cards, software and token solutions, card manufacturing equipment and personalization solutions. Prior to Aveso, Ferrari was VP of Gemalto US where he was responsible for country sales for the Secure Transactions Business Unit. In this role, Ferrari championed the development and introduction of the Gemalto’s OTP Display Card offering. Prior to Gemalto, Ferrari held positions with Atlantic Zeiser, Gilles Leroux US and DataCard.
PHILIP BARNETT, Vice President,
Applications
Barnett leads Aveso’s customer design win process and silicon
strategy. Barnett brings to the business over 30 years of expertise
in electronics, systems, semiconductors, software and technical marketing.
Prior to joining Aveso, he co-founded Emosyn with Aveso Executive
Chairman Nicholas Wood. Prior to founding Emosyn, he served as European
Applications Manager for Intel Europe. He holds 5 patents with 3 pending.
PEGGY KLUG, Controller
Klug brings to Aveso more than twenty-three years of experience in
finance, with over fifteen years in controller roles for high-growth
start-ups, primarily in the software industry. Most recently, Klug
served as Controller for Integrated Decisions and Systems, Inc. (IDeaS),
a leading provider of hospitality focused pricing and revenue optimization
solutions. Prior to IDeaS, Peggy worked for Exact Software, based
in the Netherlands, where she was division Controller for the ERP
division.
