(www.avesodisplays.com), the leader in hot laminated flexible displays, today announced they have partnered to introduce the world's first electronic display card produced using hot lamination, the same process used to manufacture >95% of the world's payment cards today. The announcement signals a breakthrough in the industrialization of a new generation of card products that will deliver greater security and convenience to consumers.

Under the partnership, dz card will be the first global card manufacturer to offer a display card featuring Aveso’s display embedded together with a battery, circuit and microprocessor. The first display card product offered by dz card is a one-time password (OTP) credential in a convenient credit card form factor. The OTP cards, to be sold by dz card to security and authentication providers worldwide, will be available in high volume quantities in the third quarter of 2008.
