DZ CARD INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES WORLDWIDE RELEASE OF NEW FLEXIBLE-DISPLAY CARDS EMBEDDED WITH AVESO TECHNOLOGY
MINNEAPOLIS and BANGKOK,THAILAND, October 7, 2009 – dz card International (http://www.dzcard.com), a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of all types of plastic cards, announced today that it has begun shipping bank cards embedded with Aveso, Inc.’s (http://www.avesodisplays.com) proprietary flexible display modules to multiple financial institutions. dz card International supplies more than 500 million cards annually to customers around the world.

Aveso’s displays are based on a patented electro-active ink technology that makes it possible to manufacture
displays using installed manufacturing capacity and readily available materials. dz card International’s display cards are manufactured using standard hot lamination processes. This process is used today to make hundreds of millions of high-quality cards used by dz card International customers worldwide within banks, telecom, and loyalty systems.
The dz card International flexible-display card passes ISO standard reliability testing for bend and torsion, as well as the three-roller mailing simulation.
